FAQS ABOUT YOUR TIME ON THE TREETOP WALK

Dogs

Can I take my dog with me?

Can I take my dog with me?

Dogs* respectively all kinds of pets are not permitted to walk on the trail.

The safety aspect (for animals and humans) plays a major role in the ban on animals on the trail, alongside the hygiene aspect. Although most responsible owners keep a close eye on their animals, they may still show unexpected social behaviour towards strangers and also towards other animals of the same species. Moreover, dogs’ fear of heights can trigger flight behaviour. Unfortunately, the lack of space on the path offers neither retreat nor escape possibilities for animals nor for visitors who are afraid of animals.

*Exception: companion dogs for the disabled and care assistance dogs.
